Reasons to Recommend

The Islands of the Bahamas are known for their romantic vibe. Couples can celebrate their love through many exciting excursions like swimming with dolphins or horseback riding along the beach.  Feel like the only couple in the world by enjoying a castaway picnic on a deserted island or experiencing a night-time island view by sea on a moonlit dinner cruise.

Setting the Scene

The quiet coves, sheltered bays and crowd-free beaches of the Bahamas offer visitors the intimacy of a secluded retreat within a surprisingly expansive archipelago. The islands are blessed with clear, turquoise waters that are home to ancient shipwrecks and a rainbow of coral reefs teeming with fish. Pastel-coloured seashells and clapboard houses painted in bubblegum hues sit amidst a tropical landscape dotted with vibrant flora. On many of the Bahamas' most unspoiled coastal stretches, empty beaches offer total tranquillity.

The Out Islands offer luxurious romantic locations for weddings and honeymoons and are a popular celebrity wedding site. There are more than 700 beaches, exclusive French Cloisters on Paradise Island and a National Art Gallery. Tradition and culture are seen in the many historic churches such as St. Matthews and Christ Church Cathedral. Beauty is found in Cable Beach Gardens, Graycliff Gardens and the Garden of the Groves on Grand Bahama Island. With 700 islands to explore, Bahamas encompasses beauty and romance with never-ending possibilities.
