Some of the best cuisine in the Caribbean.
Reasons to Recommend
St. Martin has some of the best cuisine in the Caribbean, with over 350 restaurants for romantic dinners and opportunities to try fantastic local eats. The island is steadily growing its number of luxury spas for some much needed pampering while away. Accommodations suit all visitors’ needs, from cozy plantation locations to large resort & casino’s.
Setting the Scene
This twin-nation island offers the best of two worlds to explore. In Dutch Sint Maarten there are many secluded beaches, ideal for truly getting away. In French Saint-Martin, Long Baie; Prune Bay; and Grand Case beaches are renowned for their sunsets. Enjoy a hidden forest cafe, a learning experience at a Carib Isle Plantation, deep-sea fishing, or diving and snorkelling where you can see exotic fish and ancient relics such as an 1801 English battleship. With countless points of interests and cultural gems to enjoy, the island provides an incredible setting for a romantic celebration.
Be in two countries at once with one foot planted in Saint-Martin and the other in Sint Maarten. Walk along the boardwalk on a moonlit night, enjoy a couples’ massage or discover one of many hidden beaches and claim it for your own. Indulge in a champagne sunset sail aboard a catamaran or plan a surprise candlelit dinner on the beach. Romance is the essence of every experience on these islands.
