U by Uniworld- Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will launch new ships in Spring of 2018 to accommodate more towards a younger, more high-tech crowd. Each ship will accommodate 120 passengers each and will have a sleek design like no other. The ships will feature deck-top lounges with D.J’s, wine and mixology classes and onshore can go on guided excursions, white-water rafting and local nightspots that are hosted by U. The ships will travel along the Rhine, Main, Danube or Seine Rivers, with overnight stays along the rivers in Paris, Vienna, Amsterdam and Budapest.
Ocean Medallion by Princess Cruises- Princess will be launching their new ship, the Ocean Medallion that is more geared towards Millennials. The Ocean Medallion features wristbands that will unlock the cabin rooms and will be able to make purchases through. This would be in replacement of a cruise card. It is also used as a navigation device to find friends around the ship. This ship will be equipped with complimentary WI-FI, an enhanced embarkation terminal and PlayOcean, fun and interactive games played through smartphones onboard.
Celebrity Edge by Celebrity Cruises- The Edge will launch in 2018 featuring the first single stateroom making it perfect for solo travelers as well. It also features a platform suspended in the air called the Magic Carpet that moves from deck to deck creating a walkway between decks. There is also an outdoor dining terrace and an expanded pool deck.
MSC Meraviglia by MSC Cruises- The Meravigila will be launched with interactive bracelets that unlock cabin doors and passengers will be able to make purchases with their bracelet. They also have introduced 2 new shows from Cirque Du Soleil.
