THINGS TO DO ON SEA DAYS
POOL PARTY
Especially on Caribbean cruise itineraries, lounging by the pool is a great idea for sea days. Most cruise lines have more than one pool onboard so there are lots of options to choose from. There are pools for families and kids, waterparks, pools for adults r hot tubs. Pool days are great to relax from a port heavy itinerary to make sure that you get some solstice on your vacation.
WORKOUT SESSION
Most cruise lines have an extensive training facility onboard for those gym buffs, or for those who want to work off the extra couple pounds from the delectable options onboard. Some cruise lines offer training classes, yoga classes, lap pool areas and many more. On sea days, this is a great opportunity to get your gym day in, with some recovery time before you have another day in port.
SPA RELAXATION
You should spend some time to pamper yourself, you are on vacation after all! Most cruise lines offer spa treatments like massages, facials, and mani-pedis. Some cruise lines go above and beyond with other advanced treatments like saunas and steam rooms. There is relaxation time for everyone, some cruise lines also offer treatments for teens as well as adults, keeping everyone relaxed.
DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT
Don't just do the mainstream activities, sign yourself up for activities that you've never done before. This could mean zip lining, dance classes, cooking classes, scrapbooking classes or photography classes. Make your vacation worthwhile and memorable.
GO TO THE ENTERTAINMENT SHOWS
Sea days are the perfect opportunity to go see the shows onboard. Most of the large cruise ships will have entertainment shows onboard to watch, and on sea days, there is matinee (afternoon) and evening shoes. Broadway at sea is what they advertise, and the shows are incredible.
